Playworks is kicking off the school year with our first-ever national partnership. Mattel has signed on to help us to expand our commitment that every child has a chance to play every day. Mattel has already been working closely together in Los Angeles, where the company supports several LA schools and will engage their employees in volunteerism and community service through Playworks. The national partnership represents an opportunity to ensure that more kids around the country have access to play.

In addition, the partnership represents the potential to pilot the Playworks model internationally through training Mattel employees abroad to bring healthy, inclusive play to schools in communities where they live and work.

"This is an exciting year for play and Playworks,” says Vialet. “Mattel is a powerhouse company with a long and proven commitment to play. Our partnership is a tremendous opportunity to take the power of play to more children and communities around the world.”
