Growing with Games: Building Brain Skills Through Play

In-Person Training
3 Hours
Preschool & kindergarten educators

In this workshop, you’ll learn how inhibitory control, working memory, and cognitive flexibility show up in play, along with a framework for building skills through games. Educators will walk away with:

  • A clear understanding of executive function skills and how games help young children practice them
  • Simple strategies for adapting and leading games with young children
  • Hands-on practice leading a game with peer feedback
  • Confidence as a play leader for young children

Showing Up Outside: Small Steps for Better Playtime

In-Person Training
3 Hours
Preschool & kindergarten educators

This workshop adds simple, intentional routines, including how you set up the space, open and close playtime, and show up while children play, so outdoor time runs more smoothly and stays just as free. Educators will walk away with:

  • Insights into how adult engagement, choices, and routines shape children’s play outside
  • Routines to set up, open, support, and close outdoor playtime with ease
  • Team alignment through defined adult roles and shared expectations for the playground
