Playworks’ Rookie of the Year, Jon Gibbs, serves at Bennet-Kew Elementary School in Ingleside, California. He exemplifies service and the power of play. Coach Jon has been a standout, both at the school and in the larger community. He takes being a coach to a whole new level. In addition to putting his artistic talents to work on the Bennet-Kew campus, Coach Jon coordinated a Playworks city-wide basketball exhibition night at a local university’s basketball court for all the boys and girls involved in Playworks’ leagues.
