Maynard Webb, chairman, and CEO of LiveOps, a Santa Clara, CA, high-tech company, was named as the Playworks’ Most Playful CEO earlier this year, taking the honors after a national search for a chief who truly valued play in the workplace. Heading one of the most innovative companies in Silicon Valley, Maynard is a strong advocate for employee playtime, participating in the 2008 LiveOps Olympic Games with his employees, and even taking home a medal. He is known never to turn down a football game, the dunking tank, softball or other play activity, recognizing that success is best achieved when hard work is rewarded with fun activity.
