This school year, Arielle is thrilled to assume the role of a Playworks Site Specialist. Her background includes extensive experience working with children in classroom settings; having dedicated the past 8 years to teaching music to students of all ages. Now, she’s eager to return to the rewarding work of working with kids. During her free time, you’ll find Arielle crafting, writing music, and spending quality time with her pets.

 

Berto Dryden


Program Specialist
Aurora Highlands, Virginia Court, & Park Lane
Berto is going into his first year as a Program Specialist for Playworks Colorado, fourth year with Playworks. Originally from New York, Berto grew up in Georgia, attending Covenant College to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and his love for playing basketball. While in school, he came to Colorado during the summers to work at a summer camp as a counselor. He officially moved to Colorado in 2019 working in Aurora Public Schools. Outside of work, Berto coaches high school girls basketball, enjoys traveling to new places with his wife and kids, and loves exploring anything new, whether its food, places or people!

Brittany is excited about her second year with Playworks. She previously worked as a middle school math tutor and Track & Field coach. She plays Women’s Pro Football in the WNFC and is eager to bring her love of sports and wellness to the team. A few of Brittany’s hobbies include, going to gym and reading.

Cinthia will be joining Playworks as a Site Specialist, and is excited to build connections with the students that she will be meeting. Cinthia has experience in being a mentor, where she planned game nights and resources for her mentees. Outside of work, Cinthia likes to do activities outdoors with her friends and family.

Davis recently graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies. He moved to Colorado to pursue his passion of helping kids. He is most excited about teaching the kids sports and making a positive impact!

 

Dominique Hubert

Dominique Hubert is excited to be on the Playworks Team this year. He’s a former Professional Track Athlete, and has spent the last 5 years coaching youth sports. When he’s not working, you can find him in the gym or spending time with family. His favorite meal is Chicken and Waffles!

Grace is a Site Coordinator and is pumped to create an environment where kids can play, grow, and connect with one another. In her free time you can find her rock climbing, losing in fantasy football, or cooking up some yummy food (roommate approved).

Ida (she/they) is thrilled to be on the Playworks team! She is new to Colorado, and excited to bring her experience from summer camp and after-school care to this position. She is passionate about helping the next generation build the skills they need to thrive in life. In their free time, Ida likes to dance and rock climb.

Jake graduated from the University of Denver in 2019 with a degree in History. For 3 years, he worked with the Colorado Avalanche in their Amateur Hockey program. Jake has always loved working to promote active lifestyles and he’s excited to work for Playworks! In his free time, he enjoys cheering for all the Colorado sports teams, as well as exploring the great outdoors.

 

Kalee Bonner

Kalee is excited for the 2025/2026 school year! Serving at Jewell Elementary and Edna/John Mosley P-8 as a Site Specialist. This is Kalee’s second year with Playworks as a site specialist. Kalee grew up in Salt Lake City, and graduated from Weber State University in 2023. Some of Kalees hobbies includes hiking, cooking, and painting.

Kylie is entering her fifth year with Playworks Colorado and recently transitioned into the role of Trainer. Originally from Kansas, she holds a degree in Strategic Communication from Wichita State University and brings over a decade of experience working with youth in nonprofit and educational settings. Kylie is passionate about youth empowerment and creating environments where all children and adults feel seen, supported, and joyful. Outside of Playworks, she enjoys skiing, camping, trying new recipes, traveling, and attending live music shows with friends.

Leigha is super excited to be a Playworks Coach for the 2025-2026 school year! Leigha just recently got back from Florida from a previous internship, which sparked her passion for working with children! Leigha loves all things Disney and enjoys playing under the sun.

Leland is absolutely ecstatic to complete another year of service with a school that he considers family! Leland has built connections that’ve sustained multiple seasons, and this inspires him to bring even more people together! Leland is a firm believer in Jesus Christ and actively participates in what he teaches. Leland also likes weight lifting, hiking, and sushi!!

Leonard is passionate about providing equal opportunity to play for all youth and is eager to be a Site Specialist for the 2024-2025 school year. Leonard previously worked as a youth soccer coach and volunteer powerlifting coach, and found joy working with children and teens. In his free time, Leonard enjoys climbing and playing video games. Otherwise he’s watching professional football and basketball.

Megan is a second-year Site Specialist for Playworks Colorado. Originally from Omaha, NE, she holds a degree in Healthy Lifestyle Management from Creighton University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Oklahoma. Previously a collegiate athlete, Megan is passionate about encouraging youth to stay physically active while helping them develop life skills, confidence, and healthy habits. These days, you can find Megan morally supporting her friends at Trivia nights, watching Creighton Basketball, or serving pizza at Piccinos!

Scottie is excited to return to Alsup for his second year as an AC coach. He brings a wealth of coaching experience, having worked with the Denver Nuggets Youth Academy, as well as coaching youth flag football and baseball, and middle and high school basketball. Scottie has a true passion for helping the youth. When he’s not on the court, he enjoys spending his limited free time with his family and his dog, Dexter.

With experience as a mentor and tutor, Kavhawn is passionate about supporting students’ growth and fostering inclusive play spaces. Outside of work, Kavhawn is a music producer, plays on a rugby team, and enjoys cooking for friends and family.
