Corporate Partner Becomes an Official School Sponsor

  1. Updates

Starting out as a one-room schoolhouse in 1721, The Bedford Village School/PS3 in Brooklyn is one of the largest and oldest continuously existing schools in New York, Since last year Playworks Greater New York has run our five-component model pf physical activity and play programs at the school, improving the health and well-being of 575 Pre-K through 5th graders every day. Now, PS3 and Playworks have a new partner — the Salesforce.com commercial sales team, which has signed on to be the official sponsor of the Playworks program at the school and participate in an ongoing employee engagement partnership.

After two New York City Salesforce.com teams volunteered to help beautify the playground and another time to help Coach Todd run the Playworks program, they were sold on the program.

This partnership provides employees of Salesforce.com with year-long access to volunteer engagement events at the school, enabling employees to become change agents and  spreading Salesforce.com's culture of care throughout the communities in which employees live and work.
