What is a Playworks Ambassador?
Playworks Ambassadors are passionate advocates who use their voices, networks, and time to help grow Playworks’ impact across Colorado. More than donors, Ambassadors are connectors, cheerleaders, and champions of healthy play. They open doors to new supporters, build relationships, and help bring the power of play to more kids every year.
Ambassadors help by:
- Introducing Playworks to individuals, schools, and companies aligned with our mission.
- Attending recess visits and special events.
- Volunteering to model Playworks values with kids in action.
- Offering strategic input to strengthen our community presence.
- Making a personally meaningful annual donation.
Ambassadors Expectations:
- Connect with Playworks Colorado staff/board at least 3x/year (or 2x/year plus volunteer service).
- Come prepared to share one meaningful introduction at each touchpoint.
- Help “schedule recess” with one new friend annually (bring a guest to see Playworks in action).
- Explore ways to build corporate relationships through your network or employer.
- Commit to a 3 year term.
- Contribute a personally significant annual gift.
