Playworks Kickball Tournament 2023

  1. Updates

We had our latest fundraising event, Playworks Colorado Kickball Tournament this past Friday, June 2 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Teams from companies across Colorado, including: U.S. Bank, Peak Resources, SVB, WellBiz Brands, PNC, Delta Dental, Bank of Denver, Fruition, FORVIS, and IMA, competed in kickball games to seek out the kickball trophy. After four rounds of kickball, SVB matched up against the Peak Resources / IMA team. The weather couldn’t stop the championship round but we did ensure a slight rain delay. Congratulations to SVB for winning the tournament this year!

The tournament featured delicious beverages from Tivoli Brewing, Diebolt Brewing, and Truly and a BBQ from Walmart.

Check out pictures capturing all of the fun.

Play gives kids the space to practice valuable skills and be physically active, and teachers notice the difference. Playworks is a national nonprofit that believes in the power of play to bring out the best in every kid. In Colorado, Playworks will continue to positively impact over 28,000 kids in 68 schools to improve school climate, boost social/emotional learning, and increase the physical activity of kids. Here is a map of the schools we partner with in Colorado.
