Playworks to present at Excellence in Schools Summit

  1. Updates

Playworks is presenting on the benefits of increased play in schools at the Excellence in Schools Summit in Arvada, CO April 25-26.

Playworks is helping teachers, principals and educators capitalize on an existing, built-in time in the school day that often results in disciplinary issues: RECESS.

The best way to improve recess is by ensuring that staff have the training necessary to manage it effectively.

With 16+ years of experience, Playworks offers educators and out-of-school time staff customizable and cost-effective training. Schools powered by Playworks use recess as the catalyst to increase physical activity, decrease bullying and improve learning.

Find out how active recess can support youth wellness: join our breakout session on Friday, April 26!
