Playworks Wisconsin is excited to partner with the Wisconsin Brewery Running Series (BRS) for its second season. Last year, Playworks’ partnership with the BRS brought in over $6,000 to support healthy play and provided us with unique opportunities to engage with Milwaukee adults and families.
The Wisconsin Brewery Running Series features a series of 5K fun-run events at several microbreweries throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Participants will run through a variety of neighborhoods in Milwaukee and Madison and sample many local brews in a fun, family-friendly environment. This year’s season kicks off on May 6 at Karben4 Brewing in Madison, shortly followed by the first Milwaukee run of the season at Third Space Brewing Co. on May 20. We’re excited to continue our partnership with the BRS for a second year and we look forward to a great summer! Playworks representatives will be giving high-fives and fist bumps at several of the runs this season, and we’d love to see you there. Stay tuned for updates as the season draws closer.
