The Zilber Family Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals, families, and neighborhoods. As part of its Quality of Life Plan for Lindsay Heights, Clarke Square, and Layton Boulevard West, the foundation recently awarded Playworks Wisconsin a grant in the amount of $200,000 to help sustain and expand Playworks programming in the neighborhood’s public schools, serving over 1,000 elementary school children, over the next two years. The Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s mission is to inspire philanthropy, serve donors, strengthen communities now and for future generations. As part of its priority to strengthen education, the foundation recently awarded Playworks Wisconsin a grant in the amount of $25,000 to help sustain and expand Playworks programming, especially in schools serving predominantly Latino schools, like Rogers Street Academy.
