Ms. Robbie, Educator of the Month

  1. Updates

Congratulations to Robbie McLoud, this month’s Playworks Educator of the Month. Ms. Robbie is a kindergarten teacher at La Escuela Fratney where she encourages kids to get in the game.

For as long as Playworks has been at Fratney, Ms. Robbie has been one of the main supporters of the program. She always participates at recess and in her class game times. Not only does she cheer on students during Playworks activities, but she leads Playworks cheers in her class to help excite and calm her students.

Ms. Robbie advocates for all children to play and have equal opportunities. When conflicts arise, she encourages students to use roshambo. No student is ever excluded from a game Ms. Robbie is playing. She wants all students to feel involved and know that they can do anything they set their mind to.

Even though she is retiring at the end of this school year, Ms. Robbie is still very involved in the school and Playworks. Whether she is leading a cheer, using Playworks games for indoor recess, or encouraging all students to try their best, Ms. Robbie is the Fuego Champion of Play!
