Playworks Soccer

  1. Updates

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Playworks Wisconsin soccer league! Soccer was a huge success, engaging more than 100 students and their families. Unlike other youth sports leagues, the Playworks soccer league is designed to build empathy and teamwork by teaching students the skills of soccer so that they feel comfortable learning and playing the sport with their peers. In many cases, Playworks leagues provide opportunities to develop athleticism that many students may not otherwise have.

The success of the soccer league would not have been possible without our encouraging coaches, faithful volunteers, cheering families and playful students!

We want to say a special thank you to Community Advocates for providing us with funds to purchase new soccer goals as well as indoor and outdoor soccer balls for our soccer league.

Want to help out? We are currently recruiting volunteers to assist in our girls’ basketball league. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Katie at kdavis@playworks.org or 414-220-4301.
