Coach Povey has been presented with the golden trophy award for being March’s AmeriCorps member of the month. Coach Povey came to Playworks with a background in Art History, receiving both Bachelors and Masters degrees in this field from the University of Utah. Her passion for education, as well as enthusiasm and energy make her an exemplary Playworks Coach. Her playground at James E Moss Elementary School is a model of positive language, conflict resolution and increased activity. Due to her outstanding recesses, Moss has been a favorite location for site visits and corporate recesses, and Coach Povey, along with the staff at Moss, have been gracious hosts throughout the year.
