January 2013 Coach of the Month

  1. Updates

Ashley Morie is Playworks Durham’s Janaury Coach of the Month.  Ashley is a first year coach at Glenn Elementary School. Ashley’s dedication and commitment to high quality program and inclusion of everyone in the Glenn Playworks community have made her January’s Coach of the Month!

Coach Ashley has done an excellent job of getting Glenn’s staff and administration involved in Playworks.  Her principal consistently praises her hard work and loves attending basketball games. Teachers have also commented about how impressed they are with her getting parents more involved at the school.Ashley was invited to be on the school’s Community and Health Committee and she is currently planning a parent’s recess night.  Glenn loves ‘Coach A” and she consistently talks about how much she loves coming to school everyday.

Coach Ashley’s commitment comes through in every way, even attending service projects with the AmeriCorps coaches because she too is dedicated to service. This month we give her a great big “Ballin’ Clap”!
