Coach Kyhree Makes Excellent Happen

  1. Updates

Coach Kyhree is a first-year recess team lead at Boston Renaissance Charter Public School (BRCPS) in Hyde Park. Over the course of the school year, Coach Kyhree has proven to be incredibly dedicated to all aspects of his work. Coach Kyhree has been able to build a strong program and cultivate great relationships with all members of the school community. In fact, this is the first year BRCPS has partnered with Playworks to implement our TeamUp programming. Coach Kyhree has done a wonderful job implementing Playworks’ programming and helping transform BRCPS into a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for all.

During the month of April, Coach Kyhree brought positive energy, consistency, and creativity to his work. He facilitates regular recess team meetings at his school and is passionate about making recess an enjoyable experience for all. Additionally, Coach Kyhree committed to recruiting a team to participate in the Playworks Jamboree with other Playworks schools. The Jamboree gives students the opportunity to participate in an after-school sports league and play alongside Playworks students in different schools. Kyhree and his team are excited to participate in the Jamboree for the very first time.

Coach Kyhree continues to make excellent happen by being an integral part of the school community. Coach Kyhree can always be found in the school hallways smiling, handing out high-fives, and asking students how they are doing. With his incredible passion for serving the community and dedication to Playworks' core values, we are confident Coach Kyhree will continue to make excellent happen throughout New England.
