Playworks Massachusetts’ Most Valuable Player of the Month: Mr. Carlos

Mr. Carlos is a rockstar lunch and bus monitor who supports Coach Molly at Gardner Pilot Academy in Allston. Mr. Carlos takes an active role in recess alongside the students at Gardner Pilot Academy. He fully embodies Playworks' core values and demonstrates healthy community by participating in various cheers and attention-getters every day at recess. He is a role model to all students, earning the respect of each student at the school.

Mr. Carlos excels at making recess safe and enjoyable for all students. He spends recess rotating between all of the games to ensure that everyone is having fun and playing safely. He works with students who are on the sidelines and encourages them to get active and in the game. Mr. Carlos supports every aspect of Playworks. He brings a positive attitude and playful nature to recess every day. We are lucky to have Mr. Carlos as an advocate for safe and healthy play.
