BECOME A MEMBER OF THE 2011 PLAYWORKS BOSTON RUN FOR RECESS MARATHON TEAM!

As a member of the team you will receive:
Limited Edition New Balance Gear
The opportunity to adopt one of our 27 Metro Boston Elementary Schools
Marathon training and group runs with our running coach
Fundraising support throughout the campaign
Special team dinners and happy hour events
THE FEELING OF CROSSING THE FINISH LINE
As a member of the team you are expected to:
Raise a minimum of $3,250
Be an ambassador of play
 
Join the national movement and help give Metro Boston students the opportunity to engage in healthy, meaningful play!
 
Playworks has a proven and scalable model and we know our program works! Last year's data indicates that :
1. 86% of students showed an increase in physical activity at recess
2. 88% of teachers reported a decrease in bullying
3. 94% of teachers reported an increase in students' abilities to focus in the classroom.
