Agron, Inc. Play Day at Southern California Partner School

  1. Updates

On Tuesday, November 15, 2022 agron, inc. employees joined students at Jefferson Elementary in Lennox Unified School District for a Playworks Play Day. Employees and students were ear to ear in smiles as they experienced the power of play together on a sunny, Southern California morning.

Thanks to our continued partnership, many agron, inc. employees are familiar faces on the Jefferson Elementary playground. Students are always eager to play with employees, teaching them new games, conflict resolution tools and even dances. It is no surprise, that at the end of every Play Day, students ask the employees when they will be back.

On top of bringing their game faces ready to play with eager students, agron, inc. continues to center the needs of the Lennox school community year after year. Whether it is a Play Day or an in-kind gift, agron, inc. employees are ready to swing into action to impact this community. When Jefferson Elementary needed water bottles last year for their new water distribution stations, agron, inc. delivered and distributed water bottles to every single student at the school.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Jefferson Elementary kept its doors open thanks to the dedication of the school principal, Robert Estrada. He made sure that the kids of hard-working parents continued to have a place to learn, play, have fun and be safe. During this time, agron, inc continued to stay in communication with Robert and lent a helping during school holiday celebrations.

We look forward to continuing to center the needs of our local communities and our youth through dedicated partnerships like this one. Together, through play partners like agron, inc. and Jefferson Elementary, making a positive impact on youth through safe and healthy play is possible.

“It’s time to change our ways so we can save the day, for the children’s sake and make a better place to play.” – Good Day by Nappy Roots
