From Outbursts to Emotional Awareness

  1. Updates

Coach Boh, the Playworks Coach at Diamond Elementary in Santa Ana, shared this story of transformation:

Silviano (name changed for privacy) was one of my junior coaches that struggled with controlling his anger. He was known for having a “short fuse.” Silvi would constantly find reasons to get into arguments. I noticed that Silvi was very engaged in the emotional awareness training. Since then he has learned to identify his emotions and manage them well. His is more attentive and steps up more for leadership roles.
