Junior Coach Leaders Take Over South Coast City Soccer

  1. Updates

It was the biggest event thus far for Playworks Southern California! It’s our annual Junior Coach Conference. Four hundred fifth grade leaders united at South Coast City Soccer, in which we honored their commitment to being a positive role model for all students at their school.

The conference is a day of recess games such as: ultimate soccer, 1 fish 2 fish, maze game, ro-sham-bo dodge-ball, etc. Panda Express provided lunch to all the junior coaches, volunteers and Playworks staff. Thanks Panda!

The day was phenomenal for both the junior coaches and our staff.  One Junior Coach ran up to us and yelled, “this is the best field trip ever!!”

A big thank you to South Coast City Soccer owner, Kevin Eagleston, for allowing us to host our conference at this wonderful sports facility and for offering one-day free admission to all our junior coaches to play pick-up .

A huge thank you to Mattel for providing bus transportation to all our Junior Coaches. By providing transportation, all our Junior Coaches were able to attend.
