Playworks at the Big Day of Play

  1. Updates
Play brings people together, and Seattle’s Big Day of Play was proof.

We were honored to join Seattle Parks and Recreation as a Supporting Sponsor of the 2025 Big Day of Play, a community event that celebrates Seattle’s diversity and the power of play.

Hundreds of kids, families, and community members joined in games that sparked joy, teamwork, and connection.

From soccer to ball toss, our playfield was alive with games and activities. The laughter, teamwork, and energy from participants of all ages reminded us why play is such a powerful tool for fostering joy and a welcoming environment.

We are especially grateful to everyone who stopped by to join our games, learn about Playworks, and discover how we’re partnering with schools, companies, and community organizations across Seattle to make play more safe and meaningful.

Together, we’re creating spaces where every child, and every community, can thrive through play.

Events like the Big Day of Play highlight what’s possible when we come together as a community. As Playworks continues to deepen partnerships and create opportunities for kids and families to thrive through play, we are excited to keep showing up, building relationships, and, of course, playing across the Pacific Northwest
