This past fall, around 50 Under Armour volunteers experienced the power of play firsthand during a Corporate Play Day at Rockwood Preparatory Academy and Shaver Elementary. As they jumped into games like Rock Paper Scissors Relay, 3-Line Soccer, and Switch, volunteers weren’t just playing—they were learning. By engaging with students, they experienced the joy, skill-building, and problem-solving that play can foster.
After their time on the playground, volunteers and Playworkers continued team-building activities at the Under Armour office with a game of Let’s Go Fishing. Corporate Play Days are intentionally designed to help teams grow together, using play to strengthen communication, collaboration, and connection.
Under Armour volunteers fully embraced the experience, proving that being the best isn’t just about speed or coming in first—it’s about teamwork and lifting each other up. Shoutout to Senior Vice President Yuron White for encouraging managers to make space for all employees to join in, knowing that a team who plays together succeeds together.
