We are excited to be named a Stand Together Community Partner for 2016! Stand Together is the relationship between the Portland Timbers, Portland Thorns, and fans and signifies the commitment they have to support and stand by the community on and off the field. Their mission is to harness the power of sport to improve the lives of children and families through targeted programs, deep partnerships, and philanthropic giving.
As a Stand Together Community Partner, Playworks will take part in the fifth annual Stand Together Week, an annual week-long event that supports community initiatives and nonprofit service projects across the city. In the month of August, Playworks will be recognized at the Timbers and Thorns Team Store. Fans can make a direct contribution to Playworks at the register!
