Five Ways to support Playworks in the Pacific Northwest

  1. Updates

We believe in the power of play to bring out the best in every kid. For all our friends, supporters, and believers, you can help create a place on the playground for every kid — a place where every kid belongs, has fun and is a part of the game.

Here are five ways to give us a High-5 and donate and support Playworks in the 5th year in the Pacific Northwest:

  • Sign-up for Fred Meyers Community Rewards. Do you shop at Fred Meyer? If so, your rewards card can help Playworks earn more donations. Sign up for the Community Rewards program and connect your Fred Meyer Rewards Card to Playworks #85074. Every time you use your Rewards Card, you will help us earn a donation from Fred Meyer.

  • Shop on Amazon Smile and donate .5% of proceeds to Playworks. By going to smile.amazon.com, you can sign up to donate .5% of the proceeds of your purchase to Playworks Education Energized. Once you sign up, be sure to go back to the same URL for all your future Amazon purchases and you will continue to donate to Playworks.

  • Donate to one of our teams for the Portland Shamrock Run 2014. Playworks board members and staff are running for recess and you can help us cross the finish line by supporting us on our fundraising page here. By supporting Playworks, you are our partner in preventing bullying, getting kids active and creating a positive, inclusive school environment for 6,000 kids in 14 low income schools across the Portland metro area.

  • Eat, Drink, and Play with us at The Oregon Public House & The Old Gold.  Join us for a day of games, merriment, and fun at two of the best establishments in Portland. The Oregon Public House will be hosting us all day from 12 noon to 10:00pm on March 11. Proceeds from the first ever nonprofit pub on this day will go to Playworks. Are you running with us for the Shamrock Run? Either way, you’re invited to join us at our after party at The Old Gold from 10am to 2pm March 16. Proceeds from food and drinks will go to support healthy play in the Pacific Northwest.

  • Of course, one of the most impactful ways to support Playworks is to donate directly. Your gift of $182 enables one child to experience every school day as inclusive and safe and learn critical social and life skills throughout the school year.
