Who Rocks? Coach Blaise!

  1. Updates

Congratulations to Coach Blaise, our Portland program coordinator of the month!

Blaise consistently maintains a positive attitude no matter how she’s feeling. Blaise’s smile and boundless energy at trainings and service projects are contagious, and she always kicks things up a notch at leagues.

Grout’s recess structure can be a challenge, but Blaise’s flexibility, creativity and leadership skills with her junior coaches have made for a rockin’ playground! Blaise’s announcements before each recess ensure students know the game of the week and playground expectations.

Her outdoor and rainy day recess maps are always visible, helping students not only know where to play, but also to play safely and within boundaries. Her creative and effective incentive systems have helped her junior coaches become leaders and kept her ASP students on the right path.

Blaise is constantly adding new fun activities and projects to engage her ASP students. She is thoughtful and reflective in every aspect of her program. Not only is Blaise very accepting of both positive and constructive feedback, she makes every effort to implement ideas and suggestions to improve each component.

Blaise has built positive relationships with her students, staff, peers, and co-workers. She models and embodies everything we look for in a program coordinator and we could all learn a little something from her positivity.

Nice work Coach Blaise, YOU ROCK!
