Warriors James Michael McAdoo Joins the Get Fit Movement

  1. Updates

Golden State Warriors forward James Michael McAdoo joined our Playworks partner Lake Elementary and 425 students through an instructional and interactive clinic focusing on activities around physical fitness, healthy living, and nutrition. McAdoo and students cycled through four rotations: yoga, dance, basketball, and nutrition. McAdoo led students through the Get Fit pledge to encourage them to continue being physically active and make healthy choices.

“I am excited to be here today with the students to talk about how important it is to eat right and get outside and exercise every day, growing up in Norfolk, Virginia, I always wanted to be outside playing with my friends, so it’s great to be here dancing and having fun with the students today.” said Warriors’ forward James Michael McAdoo who hosted the event.
