Touchdowns for Kids and the 49ers Foundation are Now Supporting Playworks!

  1. Updates

49ers fans, cheer extra loud this season! Every time the Niners score a touchdown, field goal, or record an interception or sack this season a donation will be made to Playworks Northern California to support our program.

The San Francisco 49ers have had great success on the field and off the field as well, thanks to Touchdowns for Kids (TFK). TFK is a collaborative program sponsored by the San Francisco 49ers, Taube Philanthropies and Koret, with additional support from local philanthropists. Now in its fourth year, TFK provides funding for five organizations that serve disadvantaged youth in the Bay Area. Funding for the organization is based on the 49ers’ successes on the field: every time the 49ers score a touchdown or field goal, or record an interception or sack, Touchdowns for Kids makes a donation to improve the lives of at-risk Bay Area youth. Since its inception in 2011, TFK has raised more than $1.2 million and benefited 15 youth organizations.

This season, Touchdowns for Kids is supporting five Bay Area organizations: 49ers AcademyCollegeSpringPositive Coaching AlliancePlayworks, and JW House.
