Participants in our Girls Basketball league spent an afternoon learning and practicing basketball skills. A group of about 70 girls came to Sherman Oaks Elementary where 12 of our AmeriCorps members coached them in dribbling, passing, and shooting. We began with a warm up and ended with a great big cheer, looking forward to the league coming up!
