Playworks Partners with Raiders

  1. Updates

In collaboration with the Oakland Raiders and the NFL’s Play 60 campaign, Playworks has been selected as a community partner in the fight against childhood obesity. Playworks bolstered Play 60’s Thanksgiving weekend by running games of four square, tag, relay races and more for hundreds of kids during the pre-game festivities.

Additionally, Playworks East Bay is the recipient of a $35,000 NFL Kids Play Zone grant aimed at providing safe and engaging places for kids to play. Playworks is planning a service project to repaint the playground at a local elementary school that will be used for our flag football leagues, providing the opportunity for hundreds of kids to play organized sports.
