Cisco Play-makers make Recess a Success!

  1. Updates

On Friday, September 27th, Playworks Silicon Valley hosted their very first Corporate Volunteer Day. Fourteen employees from Cisco came out to volunteer their day to be our first official group of Silicon Valley Play-makers. After two hours of learning interactive games and activities, the volunteers headed out to schools across Silicon Valley to interact with children during lunch recess.

The event was a huge success on both ends! The children throughly enjoyed having the Cisco Play-makers at their school, while the volunteers gained a new appreciation for the art of play. Jennifer Loftin, a trained volunteer from Cisco later said, "Our Cisco team had a fabulous time as Play-makers last week and we look forward to our recess today!!"

Big high fives and special thanks go out to all the volunteers from Cisco!
