Roof-top Recess Brings Light to SF Cubicles

  1. Updates

Proving the point that you can play 4-square anywhere, the SF Team ran recess with 18 Salesforce employees on Tuesday, April 20th atop an office building high above downtown San Francisco. Using our arsenal of core games like Switch, Cookie Monster, and Circle Dodgeball we brought leadership development and team building to 18 software engineers. "Thanks for taking me back to my childhood, I had forgotten how fun it was to PLAY!" exclaimed one Salesforcer, "I now know how to play with my kids," said another.

The following day, our 18 new Coaches ran two class game times with 120 Longfellow Elementary students!  Smiles abounded, as students and Salesforce employees played the games together.  Each student got a personal Homework Buddy and Playworks Coach Amanda was astounded to hear groans as we ended Homework Time to go outside!

Salesforce is a leader in employee engagement and is dedicated to community involvement. Thank you to everyone at Salesforce for your commitment to youth development, leadership training, volunteerism and …  for an awesome Corporate Recess experience!
