Indiana Members Credit Union Invests in Play

  1. Updates

Around Central Indiana, Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) has earned a reputation for investing in its community. They take their service seriously, dedicating resources to positively impact the lives of their members and the neighborhoods where they do business. In addition to bringing backpacks filled with school supplies to thousands of kids in Central Indiana, they invested in play by becoming a part of the growing community of investors in recess powered by Playworks.

This year, Playworks Indiana was proud to be selected as a recipient of the Joan Wolfe Legacy grant, a key initiative of the IMCU Foundation. This investment helps to make it possible to provide safe and healthy recess for our most vulnerable children every day. The real magic came with an investment in Recess Packs for four of our Indianapolis Public Schools! By bringing cones, hula hoops, jump ropes, balls, and more out to the playground, IMCU is making it possible to implement activities that help to transform school culture and create a platform for inclusive and collaborative games.

Big thanks to the IMCU team for fueling the engine of play and helping Playworks Indiana to serve over 5,200 kids every day in Central Indiana.
