Junior Coaches Cut Ribbon at Salesforce.com Chicago Office Grand Opening!

  1. Updates

sfchi5.jpgMore than 100 Salesforce employees, Playworks Chicago staff members and Junior Coaches came together to help launch the opening of Salesforce's new Chicago office. Teams consisting of Salesforcers and Junior Coaches, the students in our youth leadership program, completed various challenges so they could be “awarded” supplies and equipment to build Recess Kits. The kits will be distributed to over 20 Chicago low-resource schools early this year.

The event began in true Playworks form with a big group recess that took advantage of the amazing spaces around Salesforce’s penthouse office with its panoramic skyline view.

A big thank you to Salesforce.com Foundation and the Chicago-based Salesforce team for having us be a part of your big opening day!

You brought so much energy to the Recess Kit Challenge and our Junior Coaches were beyond excited that they got to work and play with you. The recess kits will allow the 20+ schools to start 2013 off on their playgrounds in the right way!
