How the Power of Play Conference Works
This interactive learning event builds strong knowledge around social emotional learning and develops valuable skills such as managing transitions, resolving conflicts, and building systems that promote a meaningful culture/climate change within your organization. The Power of Play conference also serves as a high-energy, team-builder for youth-serving organizations. Four to six weeks following the conference, a Playworks trainer will visit your organization to build upon the skills you have developed at the conference in a personal one-on-one setting.
The Power of Play Conference will consist of workshops to provide a “deep dive” into a special topic. After the conference, professional Playworks trainers will follow up with your organization, at your site and provide participants with critical insight and tools unique to your organization related to your chosen workshop’s theme. Sessions are upbeat and balance both activities and discussion.
