Great Story from Coach J.

  1. Updates

As I walked through the halls of Kindezi Old Fourth Ward giving out high fives, a teacher named Ms. Rygmr stopped me to express how grateful she was for the transformation she has seen in one of her students since he became a junior coach. She was “ecstatic” about the overall improvement in his behavior! Later in the same week, I met the junior coach’s mother. She told me she was so happy to finally meet me and that her child doesn’t even seem to be the same person anymore. He’s not getting into trouble and his grades have improved since he joined the Junior Coach Leadership Program. It makes me happy to see kids reaching their potential and becoming the best versions of themselves! I’m proud to be part of the transformation Playworks has on students on and off the playground.
