Inside Look: Playworks Arizona Eat, Drink, & Be Giving Event

  1. Updates

Playworks Arizona’s Eat, Drink, and Be Giving event hosted by the Playworks AZ Advisory Board was a success because of champions of play, like you. Thank you for joining us on Friday, October 29th to celebrate the power of play. We hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did!

That evening, Playworks Arizona Board Chair, Will Spong reminded us about the importance of play and its impact of ending bullying. Playworks CEO, Elizabeth Cushing, shared the need for play this year more than ever and we heard from staff about the value that play can have in this moment and time and what we are doing to address the needs in our community. We celebrated in-person, played games including Rock Paper Scissors Rock Star, and raised almost $10,000 in support of safe and healthy play for kids in Arizona.

Thank you to our partners of the evening who helped make our event a success: Windgate Ranch Community Center, Jacy & Will Spong, and Luxco.
