Coach of the Month

  1. Updates

We are proud to announce that Erin Mahoney is Playworks Arizona’s Coach of the Month! Erin has been an absolute rock star from the very beginning. Her peers and colleagues say that she is a pleasure to work with because she gives 110%.

Erin is always on top of her game. Not only is she meeting expectations by hitting her deadlines, but she exceeds expectations is many other areas. She reaches out to her fellow colleagues for ideas and feedback on a regular basis—proving that she is always striving to improve her program. Her newsletters are extremely detailed and she is always ensuring that she provides excellent service to her entire school community.

Erin also has a natural ability for consultancy. She is always approaching any situation with an expert lens, ready to consult her community on what needs to be done in order for their program to improve. She is a highly-skilled problem solver and approaches every situation with a solution already in mind. We believe it’s Erin’s collaborative approach that causes the staff at all of her schools to rave about her.

It’s important to know that Erin has achieved all of this without any previous Playworks experience. She has the ability to communicate the Playworks message as though she has been with us for years. She is making great strides in every aspect of her work, even though this is only her first year with the organization.

Huge whoosh clap to Erin for an amazing first couple months at Playworks!
