March Staff Member of the Month

  1. Updates

Ms. Garcia is a new 5th grade teacher at Balsz Elementary School in Phoenix, AZ. At the beginning of the year, it was not uncommon to find Ms. Garcia’s class frustrated during CGT (Class Game Time) with teamwork games. As the year has progressed, her class has improved because of the example that Ms. Garcia leaves for them.

She demonstrates daily what is it to be a great leader and shows her students how to build each other up through their actions and words. She is a teacher who has been a great blessing to all the students and staff.

Ms. Garcia’s students are some of the best in the school. She has instilled in them that they are leaders and that others are looking up to them both the older and younger grades. Ms. Garcia has great expectations for her students and with these expectations she has set for them students carry themselves with pride and confidence. Because of her focus on her students’ education and well-being, in the classroom and outside, she truly is a teacher to be appreciated.

A huge beautiful clap to Ms. Garcia for helping Playworks Arizona #EnergizeAZ!
