January Superhero of the Month

  1. Updates

Coach Ashley, also known as Coach “Cashley,” is a 2nd-year coach at Loma Linda School in Phoenix, AZ.

Coach Ashley has the Playworks office at her school, so she is always under a lens and never knows who will be walking by, stopping in, or seeing the program for the first time!

Coach Ashley is so positive with her students and teachers. If you ask anyone on campus about Coach Ashley, they would have nothing but positive things to say. At recess, you will always find her going out of her way to make sure all students are included and encouraging, challenging her Junior Coaches to do their very best. Her Junior Coach program is flawless and has a very high attendance rate. This alone speaks volumes about the type of program that she runs.

Coach Ashley goes through great lengths to reschedule any class game times that are missed due to weather, fields trips, or testing. It's very rare that a class will miss a class game time. She also teaches an extra class every Wednesday morning without hesitation and never complains having to come to work early because she knows how important school climate and culture are for Playworks and her school.

Coach Ashley has also played an integral part in training new Playworks coaches. She never complains or hesitates in assisting the program team when asked. She is so supportive to every coach and always willing to help and provide advice. She is a team player who is 100% committed to the Playworks family. A huge money clap to Coach “Cashley!”
