We are proud to close out another successful year of play and report the following accomplishments for 2014-15:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-a44f6491-b5fa-6562-ee32-e4621b2fa38c\">We played with more than 6,600 students each day.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-a44f6491-b5fa-6562-ee32-e4621b2fa38c\">We played more than 217,550 minutes at recess.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-a44f6491-b5fa-6562-ee32-e4621b2fa38c\">We led\u00a07,600 class game\u00a0times.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-a44f6491-b5fa-6562-ee32-e4621b2fa38c\">200 students participated in the Junior Coach Leadership Program.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-a44f6491-b5fa-6562-ee32-e4621b2fa38c\">We spent more than\u00a0600 hours leading Junior Coach leadership training.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-a44f6491-b5fa-6562-ee32-e4621b2fa38c\">394 students participated in Playworks leagues.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-a44f6491-b5fa-6562-ee32-e4621b2fa38c\">More than 130 volunteers came to play.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-a44f6491-b5fa-6562-ee32-e4621b2fa38c\">These accomplishments would not be possible without all of our amazing partners in play! When I play kickball, I don\u2019t kick as hard with the little kids. You have to think about safety so no one gets hurt. Also, drink lots of water.\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.playworks.org\/communities\/wisconsin\/news\/junior-coach-year-2015\"> Read more about Kendall<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Power Player of the Year<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-18e110d2-d8bc-145c-6a7b-a8e78bda8dc9\">Mrs. Pam Marquardt<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-18e110d2-d8bc-145c-6a7b-a8e78bda8dc9\">Siefert Elementary<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-18e110d2-d8bc-145c-6a7b-a8e78bda8dc9\">\u201cAll the teamwork, all the communication, and all the positivity students learn through Playworks encompasses their life in more aspects than just during their Playworks time or at recess; it&#8217;s turned into a way of life for both students and staff. I am proud to be an educator at a Playworks school&#8230;. The core values are things that I try to embody for the staff and students at my school as well as other Playworks coaches.
