These grants bring our total 2021 giving to $6.2 million. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/LADFgives?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#LADFgives<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/BiggerThanBaseball?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#BiggerThanBaseball<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/E7cAMxwMl4\">pic.twitter.com\/E7cAMxwMl4<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Dodgers Foundation (@DodgersFdn) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DodgersFdn\/status\/1473351178113077248?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 21, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With support from LADF and meaningful school partnerships throughout Los Angeles County, Playworks will support over 20,000<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">children from 38 elementary schools with up to 30-45 minutes of healthy play and physical activity every day. Programming will also include engaging students in development sports leagues and Playworks\u2019 Junior Coach youth leadership program to promote student agency through ongoing training targeted to creating a positive school environment through the power of play.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to Playworks, LADF\u2019s end of year grants included the Alliance for Children\u2019s Rights, LA LGBT Center, Raise a Child, Natasha Watley Foundation, CSUN Roy and Roxie Campanella Physical Therapy Scholarship, College Track, The Posse Foundation, Extraordinary Families, National Foster Youth Institute, and the Good Plus Foundation. These grants support a range of programs and organizations, including investments in foster youth, food insecurity, physical activity, scholarships, college access and success and so much more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cNow more than ever we are pleased to be able to support local organizations with grants, programs and initiatives focused on pressing problems impacting those who need us most,\u201d said Nichol Whiteman, CEO Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation. \u201cPartnership remains the key to our overall success.
