From hearing the games she taught in her first month of school to what her favorite part of being a Playworks Coach is, spending time with Coach Molly was an absolute blast!<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Expanding opportunities for play with the Women\u2019s Sports Foundation and the Red Sox Foundation. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are so thankful for dedicated community partners and nonprofits alike who help us bring safe and healthy play to youth in our region. In November, we hosted a <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #438bc5;\"><a style=\"color: #438bc5;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/ClCB_yuuzo7\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Girls Basketball Extravaganza<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the Women\u2019s Sports Foundation focused on teaching basketball skills and keeping girls playing, and a <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #438bc5;\"><a style=\"color: #438bc5;\" href=\"https:\/\/eastietimes.com\/2022\/12\/14\/red-sox-foundation-visits-the-p-j-kennedy-school\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Play Ball Field Day<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> event with the Red Sox Foundation, bringing the joy of baseball to our students.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Adding dedicated team members to the New England team. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This fall was full of hiring for us: learn more about our <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #438bc5;\"><a style=\"color: #438bc5;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.playworks.org\/new-england\/2022\/09\/06\/meet-our-coaches-for-the-2022-23-school-year\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coaches<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #438bc5;\"><a style=\"color: #438bc5;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.playworks.org\/new-england\/2022\/11\/04\/meet-erica-our-new-program-director\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Erica Sandelin<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (our new Program Director), and <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #438bc5;\"><a style=\"color: #438bc5;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.playworks.org\/new-england\/2022\/11\/16\/meet-renee-our-new-executive-director\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Renee Gaudette<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (our new Executive Director). Each individual joins our staff from different paths, but one thing everyone has in common is their unrelenting commitment to youth development and play.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Building skills in the most natural way we know how: through play. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In our new blog series, Building Skills Through Play, we\u2019ve explored <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #438bc5;\"><a style=\"color: #438bc5;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.playworks.org\/new-england\/2022\/09\/13\/building-skills-through-play-community-building-at-recess\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">community building at recess<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #438bc5;\"><a style=\"color: #438bc5;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.playworks.org\/new-england\/news\/?page=2&amp;per_page=9&amp;orderby=date&amp;order=DESC&amp;post_type=post\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">developing youth leaders on the playground<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #438bc5;\"><a style=\"color: #438bc5;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.playworks.org\/new-england\/2023\/01\/18\/building-skills-through-play-adult-engagement-at-recess\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">increasing adult engagement at recess<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
