Playworks responded to the pandemic quickly, and we\u2019ve continued to adapt our expertise from 25 years of in-person play to ensure students have the opportunity to experience the<span style=\"color: #438bc5;\"><a style=\"color: #438bc5;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.playworks.org\/news\/play-builds-serious-skills\/\"><strong>\u00a0benefits of play<\/strong><\/a><\/span> in a real moment of need this fall.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first half of the school year has been full of innovation and impact. <\/span><span style=\"color: #8b3e7f;\">Check out working directly with <span style=\"color: #438bc5;\"><strong>23 schools<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #438bc5;\"><strong>over 10,000 students<\/strong><\/span> across Boston, Cambridge and Lawrence;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coaches have facilitated <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #438bc5; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #438bc5; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.playworks.org\/new-england\/2021\/02\/02\/a-day-in-the-life-of-a-virtual-playworks-coach\/\">400+ recesses, 3000+ Class Game Times, and 114 hours of Junior Coach training<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/span>; and,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #438bc5; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #438bc5; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.playworks.org\/new-england\/2021\/02\/03\/keep-playing-helps-educators-engage-students\/\"><strong>Over 570 educators from over 90 New England
