Senior Program Manager, Dana Harris, recently participated in the <\/span>Local Leader Spotlight series<\/span><\/a> through One Bead, a nonprofit organization focused on bringing entrepreneurial programming to students across Boston.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The series is designed to catalyze conversations about equity, leadership, and identity in schools. Each interview features a BIPOC speaker who is an entrepreneur, leader, and\/or innovator in the community. During the interviews, a student co-host asks speakers to explain what they do, why they do it, and how their work is evolving in response to current events.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sharing his reflections on the connection between sports and leadership, Coach D highlighted how Playworks\u2019 core values of respect and inclusion show up in his work each day.\u00a0 In honor of Coach D\u2019s participation, One Bead plans to purchase copies of <\/span>Little Big Dreamers<\/span><\/a> by Lex Mongo for participating students through the <\/span>For T.J. Foundation<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
