Coach Megan is a first-year program coordinator at the Match Community Day Charter School in Hyde Park. She is a self-starter who takes immense pride in providing\u00a0students at her school with a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment during recess. Coach Megan has a great\u00a0commitment to making a difference in her local community.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the month of February, Coach Megan volunteered to attend the annual Junior Coach Leadership Convention<\/a>. She attended the event to ensure that the Junior Coaches from her school felt supported and had fun. Coach Megan helped her students as they<\/span>\u00a0engaged in organized games and activities to develop leadership skills that could\u00a0be used during school, at home, and in their communities. Additionally, Coach Megan helped her students participate in the scavenger\u00a0hunt across Northeastern University’s campus. Her positive and playful attitude gave her Junior Coaches the opportunity to remain focused and engaged throughout the convention.<\/p>\n

Coach Megan continues to make excellent happen through her volunteer efforts with the annual Playworks Run for Recess<\/a>. She volunteers to help organize the event, recruit runners and volunteers, secure donations, and promote the Run for Recess. She has joined a group of other Playworks staff members to help ensure the success of the event. We are confident that her incredible personality and amazing commitment to the Playworks movement will allow Coach Megan to continue to make excellent happen throughout New England.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
