Coach Rebeca is a first year site coordinator who has done an amazing job bringing our unique brand of play to Cambridge. Rebeca is an important member of the Amigos School community and executes our program with excellence! Coach Rebeca recently received a letter from a parent thanking her for the work she does at the school. The parent shared that her child who has an IEP for physical strength and coordination had felt excluded from recess and never engaged in play. Because of Rebeca’s ability to create a safe and inclusive environment, the student has been actively engaged in play. The parent wrote, “he came home so excited about how much he loved playing that game, and told us all about it. He said "I never knew how much fun it would be." And he has opted into the game of circle dodge ball many times, and now expanded into four square and other games. Thanks for running this program and for your help with his development.
