SUMMARY:PlayShop New England: a workshop for adults who work with youth
DESCRIPTION:Do you want to learn how to use play to bring out the best in every kid? Have you heard of Playworks but want to sample our style to see if we are a match for you? Do you want to benefit from Playworks’ teachings but haven’t be able to organize a larger professional development training? The PlayShop is for you. \nPlayworks is excited to bring the PlayShop to New England. This unique three hour professional development workshop is designed to give youth workers\, teachers\, administrators\, parent volunteers and after-school staff a chance to experience Playworks’ proven method of using play to bring out the best in every child. This event is run by a certified Playworks’ Trainer who will teach attendees basic tools\, activities and tricks to facilitate play among students. \nWe are offering this amazing opportunity to for fun\, dynamic professional development in the Worcester area on Saturday\, May 31\, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Lunch will be provided to attendees after the workshop. \n
