Playworks in San Francisco

After partnering with schools for eight years out of the Oakland offices, Playworks San Francisco has opened its own office to better serve schools and youth in the city.  This new office will  encourage play through supporting the program coordinators with meaningful and usable training, resources and professional connections.  San Francisco Playworks aims to be a nexus of community service as our staff, in partnership with AmeriCorps, will continue to create and implement service opportunities for our AmeriCorps members as well as our community volunteers.

Corporate Team Building with a Kick

Fourteen teams of corporate employees escaped their cubicles and dusted off their cleats to participate in Playworks' 6th Annual Corporate Kickball Tournament on June 18th.  Teams included 24 Hour Fitness, Advent, DPR Construction Inc., Coverity Inc., Cupertino Electric Inc., Fitness Anywhere, Holland & Knight, Hot Studio, Lululemon, Plum District, Revolution Foods, and WAKA San Francisco.
