Let's Play!

Parents and kids joined together after school at Hudnall Elementary School in Inglewood in May for a "Family Play Day" so that families could experience a Playworks recess. Hudnall parents had the chance to engage in games, inclusive play and to give a bunch of high fives!  Hosted by our 13 Los Angeles coaches, the event was an afternoon of showcasing recess at it best with games such as four square, handball, basketball, volleyball, dodge ball and a jump rope station.  The playground was filled with parents and kids alike playing, laughing and smiling as they jumped from game to game.  In addition to the games, there was a bouncy house and face painting!  There was tremendous support from parents who had banners rooting for their kids' volleyball teams.  The event was a huge success and the families who participated enjoyed an afternoon filled with Playworks greatness!
